By Jack Hornsby April 8, 2019 Paradise on the Palouse was created to fill a gaping void that the Palouse area had, there’s no large scale, local music festivals in the area for students of WSU and U of I to enjoy while they attend school here!
Paradise on the Palouse aims to bring together the Palouse community in a way that’s been seriously lacking. WSU and U of I both have their own festivals separate from each other, but we aim to bring these two communities together in a bigger, better, and more comprehensive way. Since this is a local festival the Paradise on the Palouse team wants to incorporate local businesses into the mix for this festival to give it a uniquely Palouse feel! Vendors that are going to be incorporated will of course include merchandise for the acts, local food trucks and diners catering specifically for the event, local breweries in our 21+ beer garden, and finally local vendors selling uniquely Palouse memorabilia! The Paradise on the Palouse team is very committed to the curation of the vibe of the festival. From the start the team has wanted to make this multi day adventure something that can’t be found anywhere else. With this festival’s incorporation of the unique culture of the Palouse, as well as the massive stage production for our much sought-after lineup, we’re incredibly excited for the inaugural Paradise on the Palouse! See you guys in paradise!
